In 1998, Cash Money Records released 400 Degreez by Juvenile. The classic southern rap album was executive produced by Birdman and his older brother, Slim. The LP went 4X platinum en route to being lauded as one of the best albums of all time by Rolling Stone Magazine. Perhaps the most significant aspect of the critically acclaimed album is that it helped introduce the world to B.G., Turk, the youngest member of the group, Lil Wayne, and their charismatic music producer, Mannie Fresh. Together, the guys made two classic albums as the supergroup known as The Hot Boys. In the years that followed, they all went their separate ways as Turk and B.G. were arrested, Birdman became one of the most successful CEOs in the rap game, and Lil Wayne emerged as the voice of an entire generation of hip-hop.

Juvenile, the man responsible for putting Cash Money record on the map, reconnected with Mannie Fresh for a riveting live set during the latest installment of the Tiny Desk Concert by NPR Music. The acoustic performance by the duo featured classics like "Back That Azz Up," "I Need A Hot Girl," "Project B*tch" and more. Although Mannie Fresh and Birdman have talked about a Big Tymers reunion in the past, the iconic co-founder of Cash Money Records did not make an appearance during this show.
