In 2022, it was reported that Houston rapper and Lil Uzi Vert affiliate Lotta Cash Desto was shot and killed in Houston. The shooting found two suspects being arrested for the murder, with the latest suspect being arrested in March 2023. While details related to a funeral for the rising rapper were limited at the time, Lil Uzi Vert recently revealed that he assisted in the funeral arrangements for the artist.
On his latest album ‘The Pink Tape,’ the rapper addressed the late rapper. On the song “Days Come and Go,” Uzi rapped “I got too much on my mind, too much on my plate / I spent two-hundred thousand on Desto funeral, that’s an estate / I don’t know why they be mad at me, ’cause I’m expressin’ my ways.” Take a look above.
