Recently, NBA player Fred VanVleet took to Instagram to thank the Toronto Raptors for his time on the team and fans. The NBA All-Star player hopped into free agency and was picked up by the Houston Rockets, who offered VanVleet a $130 million contract.
Since then, Drake has taken time to troll the former Raptors player after his heartfelt message to fans and his former team. VanVleet said, “We built things together that can never be broken, and accomplished things that will stand forever. I went from the fans not knowing who I was, to fan favorite, to most hated and I’m thankful for every second of it. To the city, franchise, and country that watched me grow every step of the way – THANK YOU.”
Drake hopped in the comments and jokingly said, “My look-alike…the love is forever thank you for your character and your contributions over the years the city will never forget!!!
