Adrien Broner went viral over the weekend after sharing his thoughts on the large NBA contracts that are making headlines, including LaMelo Ball's reported 5-year, $260 million extension from the Hornets.
Like many people, Broner stated that he wishes he was getting a big check like some of the players. In a post he made to his Instagram Stories, Broner wrote, "The NBA gave out over a billion dollars in the last week, man. My mama should've f***ed a tall n***a with basketball skills. I know I would've made it to the league, but I'm grateful with what God blessed me with."
Speaking more about the league, Broner also commented on Russell Westbrook's reported 2-year, $7.8 million deal to stay with the Clippers. Broner felt that the deal was too low for Westbrook, who he considers to be "one of the most talented guards" in the NBA. You can check out his comments in full above.
