Since launching 'Cookies' in 2012, Berner has built a cannabis empire worth $1 billion. Last Fall, the rapper-turned-business mogul became the first cannabis executive to grace the cover of Forbes Magazine. A Bay Area native, one of Berner's greatest strengths as a businessman has been the partnerships he has forged with companies such as Akada, Nabis, and TerrAscend Corp. However, in the business world, you don't become a wealthy tycoon without ruffling feathers and making a few enemies.

On Wednesday, JBeezy, the owner of Seed Junky Genetics, filed a lawsuit against his former business partner, Berner, before sharing the paperwork on his Instagram page. The legal dispute stems from an alleged deal they had in place regarding 'The Minntz Brands.'  In addition to revealing the paperwork on IG, JBeezy wrote the following.

"Here you have it: Seed Junky vs. Cookies

A few years ago, Wes and I were sold a dream which never materialized. We tried our best to be patient and humble despite the obvious issues we were dealing with…but now accountability must happen. Not only for us but also to let everyone know in this industry you must be willing to be ethical partners and break bread." (You can view the post here)

One hour later, Berner hopped on Instagram to address JBeezy's post with a soliloquy that included an explanation about why their deal with South. He also called JBeezy a "little b*tch."
