Young Thug’s lawyer Brian Steel recently filed a motion to help out his client in the middle of his YSL RICO case.
According to court documents acquired by HipHopDX, Steel’s motion pushed to “exclude any and all recorded jail calls made by anyone other than Mr. Williams as said jail calls are hearsay and/or violate the Confrontation Clause.”
Thugger’s lawyer says that any calls made in jail have law enforcement listening in, which can be used in other cases to prosecute criminals. According to Steel, that information suggests that conversations on those phones are incriminating, which is why he wants them removed. News of this comes after a motion was filed to dismiss RICO charges.
