In the past, T.I. revealed that he was trying his hand at stand-up comedy, going to open mics to try out new material and watching legendary comedians perform their sets. Now, the rapper is set to make his televised stand-up comedy debut on BET’s ‘Comic View.’
Kevin Hart reportedly started taping the ‘Comic View’ reboot on July 6, with the taping ending on July 9. The event is hosted by Mike Epps and taped at Resorts World in Las Vegas.
T.I. will reportedly have a set among comedy’s elite and rising like Tommy Davidson, Taccara Williams, D.C. Young Fly, and Bresha Webb. The ‘Comic View’ return will be a part of the comedian’s ‘Hartbeat Weekend.’ Mike Epps and Kevin Hart will serve as executive producers for the show, with episodes of the reboot airing at a later date.
