YK Osiris Reportedly Dropped by Def Jam, Makes Debut as Indie Artist with 'Dear Fans'

YK Osiris is reportedly officially an independent artist as of late last year when he contract with Def Jam ran its course without a new deal being put in place. 

According to TMZ, YK Osiris and Def Jam split amicably before the start of the year. It's important to note that his recent controversy over kissing Sukihana played absolutely no role in no longer being on the Def Jam roster. Just this week, YK Osiris made his debut as an indie artist with his first single "Dear Fans."
