Two weeks ago, Ryan Garcia (23-1) took to social media to announce that he was leaving his stomping grounds in California for Dallas, Texas, where he would become a resident and a new member of a boxing gym frequented by Errol Spence Jr. (28-0) and his trainer, Derrick James. Yesterday, Garcia uploaded a video of the three men putting in work as Spence Jr's highly anticipated showdown with Terence Crawford (39-0) on July 29th inches closer. Although Garcia has stated his desire to make a fight with Rolly Romero (15-1) happen, his contractual obligations to his promoter, Oscar De La Hoya, have complicated matters for the time being. Last month,  Derrick James, professional boxing's reigning "Trainer of the Year" shared his thoughts on the potential bout between his new fighter, Garcia and Rolly, indicating that he doesn't think Garcia would not need a "tune-up" fight to handle the WBA super lightweight champion.

Scroll up and press play to watch Ryan Garcia work out with his new trainer, Derrick James, and the unified champion of the welterweight division, Errol Spence Jr.
