Boxing star Devin Haney was arrested in Hollywood after a semi-automatic weapon was found in a car registered in his name on Thursday (July 13) morning.
According to TMZ, Haney was a passenger in a vehicle that was stopped due to an unsafe lane change and a failure to use a turn signal. The person driving told the officers there was a gun in the car, and upon searching the vehicle, officers found the weapon. No one in the car took ownership of the gun, so Haney was arrested since the car was registered to him.
Haney was booked for felony possession of a concealed weapon and later released on $35,000 bail. He is expected back in court next month about the matter.
