Dr. Dre recently sat down with Kevin Hart for his "Hart to Heart" podcast, and he spoke about having a hand in shaping the careers of Snoop Dogg and Eminem. He also revealed some of the artists who he regrets turning down an opportunity to collaborate.
When Kevin asked about any career regrets, Dre explained that both Michael Jackson and Prince asked to work with him. Stunned, Kevin just asked, "What?!" Dre then added, "They just asked me to work with ’em. What the f*** am I gonna do in the studio with them? hose are my f***ing heroes, man!"
Dre would later go on to say, "I like the way that I feel about Stevie, Prince, Michael, [Bruce] Springsteen, and all of these amazing artists, and I don’t want to change it by working with them. I don’t need that on my resume."
