Zion Williamson had fans concerned after posting lyrics from Biggie's track "Suicidal Thoughts" on his IG Story considering the turmoil he's dealt with this offseason.
Zion's post featured the following lyrics: “I can’t believe suicide’s on my f mind, I wanna leave,” which had IG users asking whether the Pelicans star was doing okay.
It's important to note, Williamson has been open about turning to Biggie's debut album Ready to Die as a sonic stress reliever. That's something Zion has desperately needed this offseason amid his personal life being made public through his affair with Moriah Mills in addition to being brought up in trade talks.
He even spoke candidly about his struggles with weight with Gilbert Arenas for his Gil's Arena podcast. “That s- -t hard, it’s hard, man. Like, you’re 20, 22, got a lot of money — it feels like all the money in the world — man, it is hard,” Zion said on Gil’s Arena. “But I’m at that point now, where, because of certain things, I’m putting back wisdom around me … putting people around me with wisdom, put me on game to certain things and just go from there.”
