According to the family of legendary DJ Kay Slay, the DJ will be honored with his own street in New York City. The honor comes over a year after Slay passed away after battling with COVID-19

Slay’s brother—Kwame Grayson, took to Facebook to reveal the news, saying the ceremony will go down on August 13, 2023. Grayson posted a flyer for the ceremony, which noted special guests like  Papoose, Busta Rhymes, 50 Cent, Fat Joe, Remy Ma, Tony Yayo, and more will be appearing.

Via Facebook, Grayson wrote: “Our mother is speechless.” The ceremony will be hosted by Papoose, Ladi Kutz, and Slay’s manager Jarrod “General” Whitaker and will take place at East 105th Street and 1st Ave.
