The rise of women in rap has been prominent for the last few years, with many rappers taking off from different regions of the United States. Many of the men in hip-hop have given their takes on women blowing up consistently, and now Fabolous has taken to Instagram to share his thoughts.
Via his Instagram Stories, Fab started by saying, “I love hearing female rappers talking some real s**t. Women are so strong. Have so many stories and perspectives that we need to hear in pure form.”
Fab then delivered criticism on the range of current women in rap, saying, “No disrespect to any female rappers out there, but I think there’s only one style of female rap/Hip Hop being promoted, programmed and looked at as successful now.” Take a look above.
