Shawn Michaels took on his legendary "Heart Break Kid" moniker in the early 90s during the "Golden Era" of the WWE, shortly after turning on his longtime tag-team partner, Marty Jannetty. In the decade that followed, he became the company's first "Grand Slam" Champion, the co-founder of DX and a Hall of Famer with countless "Match of the Year" awards. These days, he works behind the scenes, developing the WWE's upcoming crop of in-ring talent. HBK retired nearly 13 years ago, but his legacy lives on through a bevy of pro wrestlers, such as The Usos, who have implemented his finishing move, the "Superkick," into their repertoire. The legend of HBK also appears to have crossed over to the hip-hop space as notable rappers such as 50 Cent and Jack Harlow have mentioned his name in their songs.

A video recently surfaced of Baton Rouge rapper, Fredo Bang, paying homage to the back-to-back Royal Rumble winner (1995 & 1996) by impersonating HBK's introduction dance with his theme music, "Sexy Boy," playing in the background.
