Florida rapper Real Boston Richey is making waves for his XXL Freshman cypher, as people have raised eyebrows about a line he had about his cousin.
In the video, Richey raps, "Always been a freaky jit trying to f*** my cousin under the covers." Twitter lit up with off-the-wall reactions to Richey's cypher, focusing mostly on the rapper speaking about trying to get with his cousin.
This isn't the first time a rapper has made such an admission. Kevin Gates famously admitted to finding out that a woman he had been sleeping with was his cousin. He addressed the situation during a sit-down with Yung Miami, and he asked the City Girls rapper what she would do in the situation.
Gates asked Yung Miami, "I just got a question for you. If me and you meet, I put it on you. The right way. You d*ckmatized. I introduce you to my grandma and then she’s like, ‘Baby who you people is?’ She pull me to the side and say, ‘Baby, that’s your cousin!’ I ain’t about to stop! The damage has been done. I didn’t know you my whole life. I just found this out. We’ve already been thuggin’. And we still good friends to this day."
