In recent years, Crip Mac, a Los Angeles-based rapper and member of the 55th Street Crips, has become very prominent on social media. His rise to fame has also shined a light on his close friend and former manager/driver, Lupe. With the help of her celebrity friends like Crip Mac and China Mac, the 46th Street Neighborhood Crip has made a name for herself. Last year, she dropped a single of her own called "Hit Yo Lupe," featuring Crip Mac, Khalid Brooks, Yung Gritty, and Runer. The track has essentially become her theme song as she often sings the chorus during interviews and social media clips. Lupe recently posted a video from a live performance of herself singing "Hit Yo Lupe" with Travie McCoy, the rapper/singer who released a song called "Billionaire" thirteen years ago to critical acclaim.
