King Von passed away on October 30, 2020, just one week before the release of his debut album, Welcome to O'Block. The late Chicago rapper has since become an underground legend with a cult following all over the world and his very own mural, across the street from Parkway Gardens Apartments, that fans from across the globe are paying to visit safely. The recent release of King Von: Rap's First Serial Killer has only made him more of a mythical figure in the eyes of fans. However, on Tuesday, footage went viral of the "Took Her to the O" rapper claiming to be gay so that he could be moved to PC, during a stint behind bars. Much like his controversial murder record and highly public death, this incident has thrust the name of King Von back into the spotlight.
