Jadakiss recently sat down for an interview on The Adam Friedland Show, and a clip of Jadakiss and Frfiedland speaking about the word "pause" made the rounds on social media.
In the clip, Friedland reacted to Jadakiss saying, "Even the leg cross, I'm feeling it," to which Adam said, "Pause." Jadakiss was quick to correct Friedland, stating, "Ain’t no 'pause.' We grown men here, we comfortable in our skin. We don’t have to say 'pause.' I think only people that’s not comfortable with their self [say it]. ‘Pause’ is for tape recorders."
The clip then skips to a moment later in the interview, where Jadakiss called "pause" on Friedland for saying he was "smoking on that big joint" in the studio. When Friedland acted confused, Jadakiss explained, "I ain’t even on ‘pause’ time, but that was a ‘pause.’ ‘Cause you did the sign language with it, all of that. That’s definitely a ‘pause.'"
Like many people online, Cam'ron reacted to the clip, writing on Instagram, "Yo @jadakiss you playing “PAUSE” or not? 😂😂😂 homie took it to far at the end tho 🤦🏾♂️"
