Update 07/19/2023 3:56pm:
Chicago rapper Lil Jay went viral after footage surfaced of a man allowing another male inmate to sit on his lap in prison.
While many people claimed that the man in the video was Lil Jay, the "Show Me Sum" rapper spoke out from prison to deny the claims. In an audio clip posted to his Instagram page from a phone call, Lil Jay states, "Make it make sense, man. Y'all try to do anything to tarnish the face, man."
Lil Jay then appeared to address the footage that surfaced of King Von claiming to be gay to be placed in PC, saying, "As soon as y'all put dude up actually saying some gay sh*t, y'all would try to put me on there."
From there, Lil Jay denied it was him in the video, saying, "Face don't match, tattoos don't match, body don't, the skin tone. C'mon, man. Make it make sense." He then thanked people for keeping him relevant, which you can hear above.
