According to reports, a Houston couple named Jaqueline Macias (29) and Jose Reyes Jr. (31) have been charged with aggravated kidnapping after the latter lured their 18-year-old victim to their home in Harris County. After establishing what she believed was a romantic connection with Reyes Jr., the victim ascended to his home without knowing he was living with his wife and their infant. Shortly after arriving, the teen was zip-tied and chained to the couple's bedroom, where they sexually assaulted her repeatedly for nearly one month. The victim finally managed to escape through the couple's bedroom window when they left her unattended in lieu of a hospital visit for their child. Shortly after making her escape, the teenager called law enforcement with the help of the couple's neighbor.

In the wake of the horrific incident, investigators discovered numerous padlocks and chains throughout the crime scene. Upon being apprehended by the police, Macias' bond was set at $50,000, while the bond for her alleged co-conspirator was set at $100,000.
