According to reports, Judge Mathis got into a knock-down-drag-out argument with Los Angeles City workers, and it resulted in two completely different recaps of the incident, one of which depicts the Judge as the gun-wielding aggressor while the other implies that the city workers threatened to run him over with their vehicle.
The ordeal started with an encounter between an employee from the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power and Judge Mathis when the latter was unable to pull his car out of the driveway because it was being blocked it. After the incident, the L.A. City worker told the cops that Judge Mathis pulled out his firearm and threatened to use it. In contrast, the Judge claimed that the employee implied he would run him over with his truck while they were arguing in the middle of the street but that he never showed anyone his firearm. In the end, no arrests were made, but the incident is still being investigated.
