On Tuesday evening around 4:30 pm, a naked woman merged into traffic on the Bay Bridge before parking, leaping out of her vehicle and screaming at other drivers before firing gunshots at the passing cars. According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident occurred near the toll plaza in Oakland, and multiple vehicles were hit with bullets. Thankfully, no one was injured.
Shortly after the shooter was arrested, she was transported to a hospital for mental health care. She also had a knife in her hand during the chaotic ordeal. Upon making the arrest, the CHP shut down eastbound lanes on the freeway, causing a massive traffic jam that extended for miles.
