Lil Yachty recently launched his "A Safe Place" podcast with his best friend, MitchGoneMad, and he told Bobbi Althoff the reason why he started the podcast.
Yachty explained, "I did it for my best friend. I did it ‘cause I wanted to make him rich." When Althoff asked if his plan was working, Yachty pointed out that things are in the works, as they got their first sponser and a deal.
Lil Yachty and MitchGoneMad's podcast has gained popularity since it's start, including the debut episode, where Yachty revealed that he's no longer a fan of Sean Paul. Yachty stated, "By the way, f**k Sean Paul. I want to make that very clear. I don’t f**k with Sean Paul. Sean Paul once dissed me in a radio interview."
