TMZ has revealed that Dennis "D.J." Hernandez, the older brother of late NFL player Aaron Hernandez, was recently arrested amid concern that he was planning a school shooting. This was the fourth time DJ was arrested this year.

According to documents from the Bristol Police Department, they believe that DJ is "gravely disabled and a danger to society." DJ had sent alarming texts that were revealed to officers, including one that read, "We're taking lives if s*** isn't paid up. It's been years in planning just taking notes, names and locations. They talked their way into this and it's almost point game."

DJ is also accused of using his ex-girlfriend's car on July 7 for a court date, but instead of going to court, he drove to Brown University and UConn. DJ allegedly went into some classrooms, and one person who spoke to police raised concerns that DJ was planning a school shooting.

Police were alerted to DJ's home on July 19 after he posted on social media, writing, "Will I kill? Absolutely, I've warned my enemies so pay up front."

Once at the home, DJ had a standoff with police, allegedly claiming he would kill them if they approached him. DJ then allegedly "began advancing towards the police with his hands outstretched to his side" and telling them to shoot him.

DJ was tasered and arrested during the incident and taken to the hospital, where he continued to make threats to kill "anyone who profited off of his brother Aaron."

He was charged with threatening and breach of peace and held on a $250,000 bond.
