New developments have surfaced in the Young Thug YSL RICO case, as attorneys for the ‘Barter 6’ artist filed a motion to not include a unique bit of evidence that was allegedly part of the 2022 arrest of Shannon “SB” Stillwell.

Attorneys for Young Thug filed a motion saying Thugger was never arrested on March 17, 2022, in connection to Stillwell’s arrest for a murder of a man. The arrest of Stillwell happened during an alleged “religious ceremony which involved a supposed sacrifice of goats” was taking place.

The motion filed argues that the ceremony that went down had nothing to do with Young Thug and that it could negatively impact Thugger and his co-defendants’ case. Court records went on to say there’s no benefit to showing evidence of the religious ceremony to the jury.

As of now, Young Thug is in jail while jury selection for the YSL RICO trial continues to go on.
