Charles Barkley appeared on ’60 Minutes’ and spoke candidly about his friendship with Michael Jordan. During the interview, Barkley pinpointed why he and Jordan fell out, noting it was over comments he made about the legendary NBA player’s ownership of the Charlotte Hornets.
Barkley gave insight into the criticism towards his “best friend,” saying: “I said, ‘I don’t think he’s gonna have enough people around him that are gonna tell him no.’” The TV personality continued, “I have zero credibility if I criticize other people in the same boat and not criticize my best friend.”
From there, Barkley delivered choice words about Jordan: "You can be great at something, but that doesn’t give you the right to be a jerk. He’s got my number.” Watch above.
