Errol Spence Jr. took a devastating loss over the weekend to Terence "Bud" Crawford as the latter used Saturday night to cement himself in annals of boxing history.
However, despite losing convincingly, Spence is hoping for a rematch with the newly minted undisputed champion before year's end. Over the weekend Spence wrote, via X "Congrats to @terencecrawford good sh** ! …hopefully we can do it again before the end of the year .."
As the sports talk shows recapped Saturday's fight, many questioned whether Spence was prepared for Crawford and how there weren't many things that could've changed the outcome of the bout leaving a rematch all but a foregone conclusion.
Seemingly in response to the critics on Monday, Spence shared a picture on his IG Story with the text overlay reading, "My head up like a nose bleed" with the following slide reading, "I was brought up [in] old law where men don't make excuses.. Even if I had one I wouldn't give it to you."
