Despite the NBA not starting its 2023-24 season until October, hoops fans are always down to discuss their top 10 all-time lists in the meantime.

Most recently, basketball legend Julius "Dr. J" Erving gave his top-10 list riddled with names of yester-year's NBA such as Wilt Chamberlain, Oscar Robertson, and Bill Russell, to name a few. One of the many people to voice their disapproval of Dr. J's list was Stephen A. Smith who took particular issue with the exclusion of LeBron James.

While Smith gave his opinion about Erving's list on ESPN's First Take on Monday, he expanded his commentary on his podcast The Stephen A. Smith Show.
