Local LA Rapper Found Dead Inside Sealed Barrel That Washed Ashore in Malibu

According to reports, the body of a man was found stuffed inside of a barrel after it washed ashore in Malibu. 

The LA County medical examiner identified the body as 32-year-old Javonnta Murphy of Sylmar in the San Fernando Valley. The barrel was discovered by a lifeguard on Monday around 10AM who opened the barrel to find Murphy stuffed inside. Murphy's body was found naked but the cause of death has yet to be disclosed.

Murphy's social media accounts indicate that he was local rapper, singer-songwriter.
