He clarifies that although he engaged in selling marijuana, he did not sell cocaine despite some inaccurate media reports. Keene mentions that he started the weed business with his brother and friend Kevin, who recently passed away. Keene also talks about his decision to drop out of college at age 20, as the money from his drug business was pouring in. He estimates that he made several million dollars by that age. Keene reveals that he started working with the Chicago Mafia around the same time and made good money with their assistance. He notes that although he had the opportunity to become a made man in the mafia, he was primarily focused on making money and did not pursue that path. Keene also mentions his Italian heritage, with his grandfather having been Al Capone's driver.
