Lil Uzi Vert has been making waves since releasing his ‘Pink Tape’ project. During the lead-up to the album, Uzi noted they ended up in rehab and revealed who was the first person to visit them upon leaving.
During an interview with GQ, Uzi revealed that they spoke with Yeat every single day in rehab. The article from GQ noted that only Uzi’s girlfriend JT and rapper Yeat knew where he disappeared and that Yeat and Uzi began working on music as soon as they came home.
Yeat reportedly cited Uzi as a significant influence, and while speaking on Yeat and other artists, the rapper said “Yeah, I don't hang with anyone my age,” Uzi says. “So, I don't feel like I'm older. If you're my age, I can't hang with you…” The rapper continued saying, “S**t, one day I'm going to be all the way washed up, and I'm going to need them.”
