This clip features Shawn Prez and Spice 1 discussing the current state of the rap industry. Prez expresses his concern about rappers facing serious legal issues, but achieving skyrocketing success as a result. Spice 1 mentions Nicki Minaj's statement about the shift in music consumption. He agrees with her sentiment that talent is no longer the main factor determining an artist's popularity. Spice 1 reflects on the time when artists had talent and put their soul into their music. He criticizes the current state of the industry where artists don't even have to be good at rapping or have meaningful lyrics to achieve success.
Later, Spice 1 discussed his thoughts on the Tupac and Afeni Shakur docu-series, "Dear Mama." When asked if he had seen it, Spice 1 admitted he was not familiar with it. However, he expressed interest in checking it out and praised the documentary's director, Allen Hughes. He acknowledged that there was some controversy surrounding Hughes directing the series due to past beef with Tupac, but believed that as an artist, Hughes would prioritize the quality of his work. Spice 1 also mentioned that he was not offended by not being approached to be part of the documentary, emphasizing that Tupac was his own man and had his own entity.
