Police in Anaheim, California, revealed on Friday (August 4) that Orange County Superior Court Judge Jeffrey Ferguson was arrested on Thursday on the suspicion of killing his wife.
Police arrived to the judge's home after receiving reports of a shooting, and they found his wife, Sheryl Ferguson, shot inside. Sheryl was pronounced dead at the scene of the couple's home in the upscale neighborhood of Anaheim Hills. At the time of the incident, there was one other person in the home, but police have yet to reveal their identity.
Judge Ferguson is being held on a $1 million bond but has yet to be formally charged. He is expected to appear in court on Monday.
