Ne-Yo started working on some music for Houston, but unfortunately, they never had the opportunity to finish it before her passing. The interview also touched on the origin of Ne-Yo's stage name. He explained that it was given to him by Big D Evans, a producer he had worked with in the past. Initially, Neyo didn't like the nickname, but over time it grew on him, and now he embraces it.

Finally, the interview discussed Ne-Yo's collaboration with Mario on the hit song "Let Me Love You." Ne-Yo admitted that initially, he had some reservations about whether Mario, who was quite young at the time, could pull off the mature-sounding track. However, after meeting Mario and witnessing his talent in the studio, Ne-Yo realized that he was the perfect fit for the song.
