This clip reveals a shocking revelation about the interrogation and torture of Kiki Camarena, a DEA agent who was investigating drug trafficking in Mexico in the 1980s. According to Hector Berrellez, a former DEA agent, Kiki had discovered that a ranch in Veracruz, Mexico, was being used by the CIA to train Contras and transport weapons to support the Contras' war in Nicaragua. The CIA was also working with drug cartels to bring drugs into the United States and fund the war.
The Veracruz ranch had a large airstrip that was used to fly in loads of cocaine, which were then distributed throughout the United States. The CIA had partnered with large drug cartels, including Pablo Escobar, to fund the war in Nicaragua. Additionally, the CIA was selling missiles to Iran and using the money to support the Contras. Kiki Camarena was kidnapped and interrogated because he had uncovered information about the drug trafficking operations at the Veracruz ranch. The interrogators, including a CIA operative named Ismael Feliz Rodriguez, were trying to determine how much Kiki knew and who his sources were. The interrogation turned into torture and ultimately led to Kiki's death.
