Although the long-awaited showdown between Terence "Bud" Crawford and Errol Spence Jr. ON July 29th made for a few little fireworks in the ring, the grand spectacle in Las Vegas gave boxing fans several compelling subplots. A backstage scuffle between Jermall Charlo and Caleb Plant went viral the day before a clip of Jermall Charlo and Bud Crawford was caught on camera trash-talking each other during the main event. Not to be outdone by her male counterparts, the top-ranked female boxer in the world, Claressa Shields (14-0), boldly claimed that she would move down to 154 for an inter-gender fight with Keith Thurman (30-1), who shocked the boxing world by accepting her challenge. Since then, the "GWOAT" has been quite busy on social media, chirping back and forth with Shadasia Green (13-0) about a potential fight at 168; she set her sights on Jake Paul (7-1), claiming that she would beat him and Keith Thurman.

Boxing Kingdom recently asked their followers on Twitter, "Does Claressa Shields beat Jake Paul?"

Claressa replied with a simple answer, "100%...I'd beat both," in reference to Jake Paul and Keith Thurman. This prompted commentary from Pittsburgh Steelers great Le'Veon Bell who wrote, "the skill being displayed is mediocre I’m crying."

To which Claressa replied, "Yes facts remains I’ll get [Jake Paul] too. The level that of skill being displayed is mediocre."
