Part 1: Jimmy Keene on Selling Weed at 12 After Finding 400 Pounds of Marijuana
--------
In this clip, Jimmy Keene talked about his experiences with a serial killer being the basis for the mini-series "Blackbird." Originally, Brad Pitt's company had purchased the rights to Keene's story and planned to develop a film. However, after several years of waiting for a script, they decided to shelve the project. Eventually, HBO bought the rights and intended to create a series similar to "The Sopranos." However, due to changes in management, the project fell through. Finally, Apple picked up the series, and Taron Egerton was cast as Keene's character. The show received critical acclaim and has also been nominated for Emmy Awards. Keene expressed his satisfaction with the final product, although he mentioned that some of the more realistic elements were left out for storytelling purposes. Overall, Keene is happy with how the series turned out and is grateful to have moved on from the traumatic experiences he went through.
