A supermarket in the city of Vienna, Austria called the Penny Shop recently shut down operations in fear of the Brazilian wonder spider. Although these spiders aren't native to Europe, it is believed that they hitched a ride in packages of bananas destined for the central European country. A bite from a Brazilian wandering spider is said to cause a permanent correction amongst men in addition to blurred vision, hypothermia, convulsions, and more.
The Penny shop is expected to remain closed through next week until exterminators remove the threat.
