MC Shan recently made headlines after he took to Instagram to diss Nas for not involving him in any 50th-anniversary of hip-hop events after Nas released a series of EPs paying homage to his peers in the industry. In the original clip, MC Shan stated, "Nas, if you doing 50th-anniversary shows and you ain’t holla at ya mans, let me tell you something, my n***a, don’t never mention my muthaf*ckin’ name again."

Now, MC Shan is issuing an apology to Nas, and he admits that he was in the wrong. In the video, he states, "I gotta give a big apology to Nas because I listened to folks that don’t even know they’re talking about him like that." He adds," I apologize for stepping outside of my character when I should have muthaf*cking thought of it as a businessman."

This comes after Fat Joe addressed the situation and spoke about other hip-hop pioneers getting in the way of their own bag.
