For Chicago Bears fans, the regime of HC Matt Nagy and GM Ryan Pace (from 2015 to 2021) yielded two playoff appearances, one NFC North division title, and the acquisition of Khalil Mack in his prime. However, Pace's costly decision to draft quarterback Mitchell Trubisky #2 overall in the 2017 NFL draft over future Pro Bowlers such as Patrick Mahomes and Deshawn Watson limited Coach Nagy's play-calling and ultimately contributed to the team's shortcoming on offense in a division where their rivals were led by Aaron Rodgers, Matt Stafford, and Kirk Cousins at the quarterback position. The Naggy-Pace regime left the Chicago Bears cash-strapped and without a franchise quarterback, despite the big splashes that were made when they took over the reins. Enter the 2022 off-season, where the franchise hired Ryan Poles as their new general manager, who subsequently brought in Matt Eberflus as the team's new head coach. Unlike the previous "Matt and Ryan" head coach-general manager, the new front office duo chose to unload some of their biggest names, such as Khalil Mack and Robert Quinn, for salary cap relief and positioning in the 2023 NFL draft. The result ended favorably as the team parlayed the top pick in the 2023 NFL draft for the Carolina Panthers' top-flight wide receiver in, D.J. Moore and four future draft picks.

With Aaron Rodgers finally out of the picture in the NFC North, the Chicago Bears are expected to make some noise in the division. Last year, the team finished with the worst record in football (3-14), but this year, some pundits have them winning nine games, while others have suggested that Justin Fields could become the first Bears quarterback ever to win the MVP award. On Saturday, the Bears kicked off the 2023 preseason at home against the Tennessee Titans. With so much optimism in the air, OTF founder and O-Block rapper Lil Durk stopped by Soldier Field in Chicago to hang out with his home team before the game. The Chicago native took photos with a handful of Bears players, including the team's new quarterback-wide receiver tandem, Justin Fields and D.J Moore.
