A 35-year-old woman named Nicole Maks is the primary suspect in a murder that took place in Dayton Beach, Florida, where she allegedly stabbed her roommate, Michael Cerasoli (79), to death before pouring mountain dew soda all over her body in an effort to erase her DNA from the victim's bedroom. Ironically, some very critical evidence was left behind.

According to reports, when law enforcement arrived on the scene, they discovered a bloody knife and Maks' cell phone near Cerasoli's dead body. But, the suspect was nowhere to be found. Instead, authorities tracked her down about three miles away in the neighboring city of Holly Hill. She was caught red-handed, clutching a knife and hammer with blood on her leg. When the cops inquired about the knife and hammer, Maks refused to cooperate without having legal representation present.

Upon review of police documents, it was determined that Maks' DNA was found on the knife used to murder Michael Cerasoli. Maks has since been arrested. She remained behind bars without bail.
