University of Kentucky Selected as First School in Nike's NCAA 'Mamba Program'

As Nike relaunches its partnership with the Kobe Bryant estate, one of the new elements of this new partnership is the NCAA arm of the operation. 

According to reports, Nike and the Kobe Bryant estate are launching the "Mamba Program" for the NCAA, with the University of Kentucky becoming the inaugural partnering school. This will be a deal similar to the Jordan Brand partnerships with schools like the University of North Carolina and the University of Michigan where teams will wear exclusive themed Kobe shoes and apparel. 

Following the Kentucky WIldcats' first season as part of the Mamba Program, other universities are expected to follow.
