DJ Akademiks addressed Erykah Badu clapping back at him for calling her an "old-ass hoe" who has been "ran through" by several rappers.

Badu took to Instagram Live, where she promoted her "Biggest P*ssy" incense that she said was inspired by Akademiks, and she went on to address comparing him to Jerry the mouse on "Tom & Jerry" years ago. 

In his live stream, Akademiks applauded Badu for her marketing prowess, stating, "I will give you credit, you are a marketing person and took advantage of this and I’ll give you applause." He then added, "Not one n***a came to your defense, that’s how I know you’ve been spreading the p*ssy all over the industry."

From there Ak continued to diss Erykah, stating, "It’s all good though. You showed your incense, and by the way, I got some. You had the Jerry sh*t? That sh*t was fire. That was great, W move in terms of you marketing and using the opportunity."

He then added, "Erykah it wasn’t that serious. You got your little joke off before. I just had to call you a little used up c*m rag because if you know, you know, I’m sorry to tell you I’m keeping it a bean! I’m keeping it 100. Y’all keeping it 100 about me I’m keeping it 100 about y’all! I ain’t taking back a muthaf***in’ thing. But yeah ain’t no n***a came to your defense."

DJ Akademiks went viral for getting at Erykah Badu after someone commented on his live stream, asking Badu to "work your magic" against Akademiks.

Akademiks unleashed on Badu, stating, "Erykah Badu, let me tell you this: you keep my name out your mouth too. Listen, that little Everyday Struggle sh*t, that was another era, my n***a. I’m down to violate all you n***as these days. F*** what y’all got going on. You don’t mention my name, please. I don’t f*** with you neither."

He added, "I never f***ked with Erykah Badu after she was tryna come on my show and be funny. B*tch, I don’t f*** with you after that. N***a, wassup now? What we finna do? B*tch, you a old-ass hoe, just keep getting f***ed by all these young n***as." 

On Wednesday (August 9), Badu went on Instagram Live to promote her "Biggest P*ssy Energy" incense, which led to her responding to Akademiks. She told viewers, "In honor of the biggest p*ssy in our culture, we're introducing this limited edition premium incense — cause he deserves it!" 

She then addressed comparing Ak to Jerry the mouse on "Tom & Jerry," stating, "I learned something super valuable today. You have to really be careful what you think and what you say out here. I learned today that something I said five years ago in jest, when we all laughed, actually triggered someone’s really deep-rooted trauma."

She added, "They kept it bottled up for a while and it hurt them so bad. Had them out in these streets acting real p*ssy."
