In this clip, Meghann Cuniff detailed Megan Thee Stallion's testimony. Megan captured everyone’s attention when she took the stand wearing purple, a symbol for victims of domestic violence. The observers found her entrance theatrical, but her nervousness was palpable. She got to testify at 11:15, right before the court’s mandatory break at noon, and when she returned, her anxiety was still notable. The prosecutors decided to rephrase their questions to make her more comfortable. Although her crying on the stand wasn't excessive, it was clear that she was emotional. When cross-examined, Megan was questioned about her allegedly changing story, especially regarding claims of a sexual relationship with Tori, which she initially denied. The defense jotted down these inconsistencies, possibly to undermine her credibility. Prosecutors attempted to justify her previous reluctance to admit the relationship by drawing attention to the social pressure and sexual shaming she might have experienced.
