In this clip, Spice 1 shared how he was financially exploited by his record label. According to him, his first album generated nearly $12 million, but he only personally received $30,000. Spice 1 claimed that once he started complaining about the division of income, the label stopped promoting his work. He strongly advises aspiring artists to educate themselves about the music industry to avoid these kinds of pitfalls. To generate real income in the industry, the rapper advises being an independent artist with your own label and distribution.
