Bodycam footage of Tekashi 6ix9ine's August 9 arrest by Palm Beach County Sheriff’s deputies was recently released.
In the video, deputies can be seen pulling over Tekashi while he was driving his Rolls Royce truck, which didn't have its license on display. A female deputy then places Tekashi in handcuffs, which leads to him asking why he's being arrested. The deputy later tells him it's for a traffic warrant, and it has since been revealed that he failed to appear in court over three traffic tickets. One of the violations was for driving 135 mph in a 65 mph zone.
After Tekashi is put in the back of the police cruiser, he proceeds to argue with the deputy about his license not being displayed. Tekashi argued that he has paperwork from the DMV that allows him to present it to any officer that pulls him over. He then explains that he had to get permission because people kept showing up to his house after getting his information from his license plate.
Jail records show Tekashi posted $2,000 bond and was released the next day.
