Stephen A. Smith Says Shannon Sharpe Hasn't Signed a Contract Yet to Join 'First Take'

Stephen A. Smith took time on Thursday to respond to reports that NFL Hall of Famer Shannon Sharpe would be joining ESPN's First Take to debate Stephen A. Smith twice a week. According to Smith, these reports are "a bit premature" considering that Sharpe has yet to sign his contract. 

While Smith explained the situation and why he's "confident" things would proceed as planned, he made it clear that things haven't yet been made official.
