Previously, it was revealed by Moosa—the president of TDE, that former TDE executive Dave Free didn’t want to sign rapper Reason to the label. The news surfaced during an exchange Reason and Moosa had while on the ‘BACKONFIGG’ podcast earlier this month, related to Reason’s frustrations with the rollout of his ‘Porches’ album.

Now, Reason has revealed that following the incident, no one from TDE reportedly showed up to his album release party for ‘Porches.’ While on the ‘Rory & Mal’ podcast, Reason was asked about the possible backlash from exchanging words with TDE head Moosa.

The rapper was asked what he thought would go down at his party, saying, “That’s what I thought was going to be the weirdest part. But it ended up not being as bad. I had a release party, and nobody showed up from the label, so…”

Reason was then asked by the podcast hosts if he was serious, replying, “[TDE rapper] Ray Vaughn showed up — shout out to Ray Vaughn,” before saying, “I took it as, you know, maybe n***as giving me some space.” Watch above.
