With so many WWE fans focused on the storyline involving the company's Undisputed Universal Champion Roman Reigns and his blood relatives, Jay Uso, Jimmy Uso, and Solo Sikoa; their younger cousin Ava Raine has been slowly rising up the ranks of the NXT brand since signing with the company back in 2020. Ava Raine (aka Simone Johnson) is the daughter of The Rock, the granddaughter of Rocky "Soul Man" Johnson, and the great-granddaughter of WWE Hall of Famer Peter Maiva. Needless to say, pro wrestling is in her blood. On Sunday night in Tampa, Florida, the 5'10" 143-pound diva defeated Ivy Nile during her singles debut at a house show with NXT. The fourth-generation wrestler reportedly revealed her aspirations about becoming a pro wrestler to her father back in 2017. There's no telling how long it may take for Ava Raine to make it to one of the WWE's flagship programs, such as Monday Night Raw or Friday Night Smackdown, but with so many members, the Anoa'i family in the WWE and AEW, there may come a time when she finds herself in written into the script that involves "The Bloodline."

Back in February, Jimmy Uso shared his thoughts on his little cousin's growth in the family business.

“Shout out to her…anyway the family can get it, I’m all for it," Jimmy Uso said. "I’m ready to see what she do. I’m ready for her to pop off and represent The Bloodline. So, either way, whether it’s down there [NXT], up on the main roster, I’m with it, I’m all for it. We’re all family, bro. We all look out for her. I’m sure she’s got the whole squad on her side, the whole family, her dad, us, the cousins. I’m sure if she reaches out, we got her.”

Footage of Ava's 1st singles match is scarce, but you can click here for previous footage of her first tag-team match.
